Terms and conditions (Seminars & eBooks)

1. The InvestR Centre (the trading name of ILTB Ltd) reserves the right to reschedule or cancel seminars. In this unlikely event, customers will be refunded all seminar fees paid. Annual web site subscriptions are non-refundable.
    
2. For paper-based seminar bookings, the seminar fee is payable in full within 3 days of booking the seminar. Booking fees will only be refunded if the booking is cancelled by the customer at least 21 days prior to the date of the seminar. A small administration fee of €20 will be applied in the case of a cancellation. Customers can transfer to another seminar date up to 10 days prior to the seminar date they are booked on to.  Because The InvestR Centre has a fixed number of attendees per training session customers wishing to transfer to another seminar may be given as little as 48 hours notice of an available place.
    
3. The customer acknowledges that The InvestR Centre seminars (and follow on practicality evenings and mentoring services) provide educational and administrative support services only. The terms and conditions surrounding our advisory services (the weekly comment and one-to-one investment meetings) are dealt with in the 'Disclaimer' section of this web site. The training seminars, practicality evenings and mentoring services are intended to assist people who have decided to invest in the stock market or in stock market instruments but it does not recommend any particular strategy or investment in these forums. There are risks inherent in investing in the stock market and in stock market instruments. It is the responsibility of each customer to assess these risks in the light of their own financial circumstances and investment requirements and in consultation with their own or an InvestR Centre investment adviser.
    
4. At its seminars and during the mentoring services, The InvestR Centre personnel teach investment strategies and give examples of stocks that satisfy the criteria of the different strategies on given dates for education and illustrative purposes. It is the responsibility of each customer to assess the merits and risks of the different strategies and to assess the different stocks that may satisfy the relevant criteria in deciding whether to invest in particular stocks / instruments or not. The InvestR Centre cannot and will not guarantee or represent that any investment strategy or investment will produce a positive result. The customer accepts that the value of investments can fall as well as rise.
