Who is Behind The InvestR Centre
The InvestR Centre was established in 2005 by Rory Gillen, former equity analyst, stockbroker and fund manager. Initially, the company offered investment training. In October 2009, the company was approved by the Irish Financial Regulator to provide investment advice and, at that stage, a new and substantially upgraded website offering was launched. We have proven direct stock picking approaches for the US, UK and Irish markets where we show you 'What to Buy' and 'When to Sell'. We also introduce you to 'Intelligent' exchange traded funds (ETFs) that discriminate in how they track a market or index and we show you investment companies available at significant discounts. Our Weekly Investment Bulletin is posted to you each Saturday and provides updates on developments in world markets, a review of the stock picking approaches and highlights funds to buy. We show you charts compiled over many years that indicate when the markets are turning and we have a range of fundamental indicators that highlight how the different asset classes are currently valued compared to their long term averages.
There are several Investment Notes that you can read on the site which cover the direct stock selection approaches, exchange traded funds, investment companies and terminology. You can buy a copy of any of these investment notes in PDF format at our eBooks section. We have a Regular Investor slot where you can follow our monthly stock and fund picks. Lastly, there is a range of Featured Articles for you to read covering a diverse range of investment topics.
Investment Training & One-to-one Advice
If you are based in Ireland, you can also attend one of our Free Workshops to learn more about our services and/or a 1-day Investment Seminars which provides indepth investment training and fast tracks your journey to becoming a DIY investor. Once you are a member you can also avail of our one-to-one Investment Advice service with an authorised investment advisor.
Investor Independence
So, whether you are just starting out or are already an experienced investor, we believe The InvestR Centre services should be invaluable to you.
